Quick Entry / Issue Return

Quick Entry/Issue Return is for entering multiple levy and garnishment entries without being prompted to complete levy tasks with a minimal amount of data entry. This method is used commonly used to enter multiple levies quickly for processing at a later time.  This entry method also gives the option to identify the entry as a "Quick Return" for scenarios when the levied defendant is not a customer of the bank. Response letters can be configured to print for "Quick Return" entries upon saving the entry to the database.

       Defendant Information

Since the purpose of entering levy information in this form is to document multiple letter entries and/or quick returns, the information required for defendants is minimal.

Required

Defendant - Enter the full defendant name as listed on the legal document.
SSN/Tax ID - Enter the SSN Social Security Number or Tax ID number listed on the legal document.

       Levy Body and other tabs

Levenger.Net provides configuration options to include the recording of any number of additional agencies associated with a levy/garnishment document. In addition to storing the levying/sending body information, Levenger can include sections to record Plaintiff, Attorney, Court Officer, or any other agencies required by your bank's entry and documentation procedures.

Each tab is configurable to record pertinent agency information. This may include address, contact, email, phone, fax etc.

A lookup () is provided to aid in finding previously saved information. For lookups, enter a partial or complete name in the field next to the binocular icon and click the icon. A list of matching results will be presented. Select the correct agency. If the agency is not listed, enter it.

       Issuing a Quick Return

Once all data entry requirements for the levy or garnishment are met, issue a "Quick Return" by clicking Save
This accomplishes several tasks:
Records the receipt and processing of the levy document
Prints a response letter (if one is assigned to the selected levy return type) to the designated agency.
Documents the return reason, such as "no account found", "no longer an active account holder", or "insufficient funds".
Closes the levy entry with no further pending task items.
If a response letter is assigned, the letter will be displayed for review prior to print. No further actions will be required for the levy entry.
Click Close to close the form.

       Assigning a Levy Entry

A levy entry can either be assigned to self or another levy operator. Saving a levy entry (not using the issue return feature noted above) records the entry for further documentation using the Levy Entry feature.

There are two options for saving a levy entry

Save - Saves and closes the Quick Entry/Issue Return form and returns to the main processing screen.
Save/New Entry - Saves a levy entry and reopens the Quick Entry/Issue Return form for additional levy entries, decreasing the time needed for data entry when entering multiple documents.
