Navigation Panel

 

Contents - View the Contents tab to see the Table of Contents (TOC).  The TOC lists all the topics available in the Help guide.  To see any particular topic, click the topic.  The topics are presented in the same order as they appear in the main eSigna menu.  The Contents tab is the default Help tab.

 

Index Tab - Throughout this manual, keywords have been indexed to speed the process of locating the help topic that you're looking for.  On this tab there is a list of keywords.  Click on the keyword and its associated topic will immediately show in the main Help display window.  Alternatively, enter a word to find its topic quickly.  Once you have the topic you want, you can click on the Contents tab and be placed at the appropriate place within the TOC.

 

Search Tab

The Search tab provides a way to search the entire help library, including words that are not indexed.  Multiple words and wildcard searches can also be performed.  The Results per page setting can limit the results per page.

 

Page and Book Icons

Topics in the TOC are denoted with page and book icons.  Each page represents a menu item in eSigna.Net.  If the menu item has sub-topics, it's represented by a book icon with a plus sign to the left of it.  Clicking on "book" topics will expand to expose sub-topics.

Graphical Hotspots

This documentation has many illustrations for clarity and most of the illustrations have hotspots, denoted when the cursor  is over the graphic and it changes from an arrow () to a hand ().  Clicking on a hotspot will gives more information about that feature, button, etc.

 

Balloon Text

Throughout this guide, red text will appear.  This designates the use of balloon text.  Clicking the red link, will display a small amount of information without leaving the current page.

 

Topic Links

A topic is a lesson on how to perform a specific function or a narrative explaining a specific feature.  Within a topic, links to other topics may be found.  A topic link displays as a blue word or phrase that is underlined on mouseover events.
