Welcome to 3Core Software's Levenger.Net Levy Processing solution.  Levenger.Net provides complete entry, print, tracking and audit controls for levy processing.  Many major banking institutions rely daily upon 3Core Software's dedication to application integrity and outstanding product support for the day-to-day tasks of storing and tracking levy, garnishment and subpoena information .  Levenger.Net is 3Core Software's latest product release furthering this philosophy of product excellence

       The Technology

3Core Software partnered with Microsoft® to become an industry leader in using its powerful Microsoft.NET platform in developing software solutions for the banking industry.  Below summarizes the various technologies imbedded within Levenger.Net.

Microsoft SQL Server™

This is the storehouse for Levenger.Net.  All transaction information is placed into a robust SQL Server database.  Regardless of the action performed, Levenger records every piece of the transaction to include user, location, and the workstation the action was performed from.

Microsoft ® .NET

This is the driving force behind Levenger.Net.  Microsoft's.NET Framework sets the standard for programming excellence and productivity. Levenger.Net harnesses this technology to enable client access through the Internet/Intranet as well as .NET’s flexibility to interface with numerous third party systems.

       The Topology

Levenger.Net allows client access across either internet or intranet connections.  The most common configuration is within the bank's firewall using existing intranet protocols.

The topology pictured below demonstrates how Levenger.Net can be deployed to manage multiple lines of businesses.  The topology shows one suggested network and client configuration; however, multiple variations can be deployed.

       The Workflow

Levenger.Net is a multi-tier application.  Within the application there are multiple layers of communication and interaction of data.  The present layers of communication include:

The Client Presentation Layer

The presentation layer is comprised of a thin-client installation on each workstation.  The underlying infrastructure of the client can be thin clients (Citrix), conventional PCs, virtual PCs, or any combination.

The Application (Business Logic) Layer

The application layer houses the business logic for Levenger.Net and resides on an IIS Server.  Each client communicates with the IIS Server in order to access the server portion of the Levenger application.  All activity and requests sent from the client interface to the SQL database route through the IIS server.

The Data Layer

The storage tier is built upon Microsoft SQL Server™.  The database stores all transaction information requested or submitted by the client workstations.

Communication between each tier is encrypted.  Communication between the client and database are encrypted in both directions.  Thus, Levenger.Net uses dual encryption for each disbursement and/or query.  This ensures data integrity and security when processing MICR sensitive documents. XML- Some of the information used for document transactions are encrypted and stored on the client machine using eXtensible Markup Language.

       System and Hardware Requirements

The hardware and software requirements for Levenger.Net can be found here.

Note:

All performance in networked environments are unique to operating loads on network servers and hardware specifications. The above hardware requirements are minimum. If mainframe emulation, email, word processing or other productivity software is operating on client stations then upgraded hardware or RAM may be needed to increase software performance in multitasking environments.

3Core Software recommends that Levenger be included in daily backup procedures. For additional information about specific hardware requirements please contact: 3Core Software MIS/IT department at (281) 440-3000.
